A subdomain lets you run a separate section of your website — such as blog.yourdomain.lk or shop.yourdomain.lk — on your existing Ceyora hosting account.
Create a subdomain
- Log in to cPanel
- Open Domains → Subdomains (or Subdomains under Domains section)
- Enter the subdomain prefix (e.g.
blog) - Select the parent domain
- Confirm the document root folder (auto-created)
- Click Create
After creating the subdomain
- Upload files to the subdomain's document root folder
- Install WordPress or another app via Softaculous on the subdomain
- SSL is usually auto-issued for subdomains when AutoSSL runs
- DNS for subdomains on Ceyora nameservers is configured automatically

Staging environments, client portals, online stores, landing pages, and multilingual site sections.
