Email authentication proves your messages are legitimately sent from your domain. Without SPF and DKIM, business email in Sri Lanka may land in spam folders or be rejected.
SPF record
SPF lists which servers may send email for your domain. In cPanel → Zone Editor, add or verify a TXT record:
- Name:
@(root domain) - Type: TXT
- Value: provided in cPanel Email Deliverability section
DKIM record
- In cPanel, open Email Deliverability
- Select your domain
- Click Manage next to DKIM
- Install the suggested DKIM TXT record if not already present
DMARC record
Add a TXT record at _dmarc.yourdomain.lk with a policy such as:
v=DMARC1; p=none; rua=mailto:dmarc@yourdomain.lk
Start with p=none to monitor, then move to p=quarantine or p=reject once confident.
